The passing of Janet Squires

On Saturday 19th June 2021, around 12:30pm, Janet Squires nee Cameron passed away surround by her immediate family at Waipukurau Hospital. Janet had recently gone into gone into hospital over the last few months and was supposed to go into a care home, however on Thursday 17th, she suffered a stroke in which she did not recover.

Janet was born 10th August 1938 to Ronald and Kathleen Cameron nee Thompson.  She married Christopher Paul Squires and had one child Alexander Cameron Squires.  Janet had 3 siblings; Rodney Alexander born 1935 and died 2024, Sally Aileen, born 1940, and Margaret Anne born 1944 and who died of cancer in 1961 at the age of 17.

Janet requested a small private service which was held on Thursday 25th June 2021.  She is survived by her sister Sally, husband Chis and son Cameron.
